SWAAT's capabilities include:

SWAAT's features include:
- aggregation of client investments across multiple custodians/data feeds
- measuring the contribution of the asset allocation decision
- identifying and quantifying the sources of risk
- testing allocation scenarios
- simulating and optimizing the trade-off between expected return and risk and the calculation of the correlation of returns from asset classes
- comparing asset managers within a quantitative methodology utilizing SPaRC, a proprietary analytical framework for assessing style, performance, risk and consistency
SWAAT is linked to a database of 30,000 domestic funds (approximately 10,000 managers), covering all major separate account, mutual fund, hedge fund and private equity operations that report portfolio information.
SWAAT has successfully operated for a small wealth advisory business managing client assets of $120mm, aggregating reporting across multiple custodians and some non custodial feeds. For a large AUM business with many advisors SWAAT will require further investment.
Samoset would seek to merge the best attributes of SWAAT with the working platform of its first several partners, taking the best of the partner platforms combining into one robust platform for all advisors.
